The 2022 Lake Cumberland Air Show will feature a complete day of high flying fun Saturday, September 17!  Come see some of the nation's top air show performers, vintage military aircraft, and civilian airplanes up close and on display.  The air show will also feature a wide assortment of food and beverage vendors as well as exhibitor booths from local organizations. 
 

We encourage you to plan ahead to take in all of the action!

DOUGLAS DC-3 
"FLAGSHIP DETROIT"

Flagship Detroit

Come see the 1937 Douglas DC-3 "Flagship Detroit" up close and personal at this year's air show!  The Douglas DC-3 airliner went down into history as one of the most important military and civilian aircraft of all time.  This particular DC-3 is the oldest flying of it's type anywhere in the world, and will be on static display during the show allowing you to even view inside!  Additionally, the Flagship Detroit Foundation will be selling rides in the DC-3 on Friday and Saturday, allowing you to take flight on this historic airliner.

"Flagship Detroit" will be conducting walk-up rides at the following times:

Friday, September 16 - 12:30pm-5:00pm
Saturday, September 17 - 4:00pm-6:30pm
