The Lake Cumberland Air Show is back — and roaring in at near-supersonic speeds. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Lake Cumberland Regional Airport will once again come alive with an unforgettable mix of vintage military aircraft, historic warbirds, formation flying, and some of the nation’s top aerobatic performers.
Headlining the 2026 show is FighterJets Inc., piloting the powerful MiG-17F, bringing Cold War-era history, speed, and excitement to the skies over Lake Cumberland.
As we celebrate Veterans Day weekend, we are proud to honor the men and women who have served our country. Veterans will receive free admission with verification of military service.

The Lake Cumberland Air Show takes place at the Lake Cumberland Regional Airport in Somerset, KY, located at:
500 W. O. Newell Dr, Somerset, KY 42503
Free air show parking is located at the American Standard Fiat Parking Lot at:
706 KY-3057, Somerset, KY 42501
A shuttle bus will take you to the airport/air show grounds. If this lot is full, additional overflow lots will be opened. Please visit our Parking page for more details.
Handicap and motorcycle parking is located near the main terminal building and is very close to the event.
Please notify a traffic volunteer or law enforcement officer upon arrival and provide proper credentials.
Spaces are first come, first served.
The air show will go on rain or shine. However, severe weather or low clouds may hinder flying activities. Due to the complicated nature of hosting an air show, there is no rain date.
Yes! BYO blankets and folding chairs are welcomed and encouraged.
Gates open at approximately 10:00 AM.
For security reasons, we are unable to provide individual performer start times. All acts are subject to change with little to no notice.
The air show will begin at approximately 12:30 PM and last about two hours.
